Become a friend of the library by setting up a regular donation. Just £5 per month goes a long way to helping us provide new books and regular activities. Click below to set up a monthly payment through Local Giving.
The library is run completely by volunteers who give their time and skills for free in order to provide services and activities for the community. If you can spare even a few hours a month you can make a huge difference.
People volunteer in lots of different ways such helping out in the library and at events to fundraising, maintenance and baking cakes for our regular coffee mornings. If you would like to get involved please pop in for an informal chat or contact us
The easiest ways you can support us are by using the library, coming to our events, buying a cake and recommending us to others. The more people who use the library the easier it is for us to raise funds.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone in our amazing community who has donated books to us over the years. Your generosity has enabled us to keep our shelves stacked with fresh titles and to raise funds from book sales to invest in new stock.
Unfortunately we don't have the capacity to accept any book donations at the moment. Our shelves are currently full and whereas in the past we were able to generate a small amount of income for the library by selling excess stock to a third party, we now incur a charge for this which is unsustainable for us as a small charity.
Please bear with us while we find a solution to this. We look forward to being able to welcome donations from our fantastic community again soon.
